Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock, a lawmaker working to get a full six year term in the Senate, on Friday reiterated his support for abortion rights in a campaign appearance in Middle Georgia.

“I am a man who believes. I am a pastor. “I have a deep reverence of life, and I have an abiding respect for my choices,” he said to the audience. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“If you are concerned about life, as I am, it seems to me that you would be morally offended by the fact that a decade after we passed the Affordable Care Act, Georgia state officials are still refusing to expand Medicaid … and people are dying because they cannot get health care coverage,” he said, per the Journal-Constitution.

Warnock, however, stated that the reports raised serious questions about his opponent after he spoke to reporters.

“We have witnessed some disturbing things. Walker: Warnock stated that Walker has shown a disturbing pattern. This raises questions about the willingness of anyone to represent Georgians.
