India’s second attempt to deploy a rover onto the surface of the moon will take place on Wednesday, 23 August as the Eastern Seaboard of the US commutes in the morning.

It comes days after Russia’s first lunar missionRoscosmos failed to land an investigation in the same location for half a century.
The Indian Space Research Organization’s (ISRO) previous mission was also a disaster. The lander lost contactOn 7 September 2019. The machine’s broken remains were later discoveredOnly 600 kilometers (about 350 miles) separate us from the South Pole of the Moon.
Chandrayaan-2’s orbiter is still in good health and in constant contact with Vikram.

Six-wheeled rover named PragyanThe ‘wisdom,’ as it is called in Sanskrit, will roll over the surface slowly to capture the landscape in 3D. Its alpha-particle-X-ray spectrumrometer, spectroscope, and other instruments will map the distribution of different elements and analyze the conductivity beneath the geology.
