YouTuber Lee Jin-ho questioned Kim Soo-hyun and the late actress Kim Sae-ron’s relationship timeline put out by rival Garosero Research Institute, alleging the metadata of the photos produced by them have been tampered with. He presented a shocking video to back up his claim that Soo-hyun and Sae-ron were allegedly dating different people between 2016 to 2019.
Additionally, Lee Jin-ho also suggested that the Bloodhound actress was in a relationship with a singer between early 2021 to May 2022. After the revelation, rumour has it that the unnamed singer in question is Cho Seung-youn, also known as WOODZ, who is currently serving his mandatory military service.
WOODZ’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, officially responded to the speculation on April 12, stating, “Because it’s a matter related to (the artist’s) personal life, it’s difficult for us to confirm. We ask for your understanding in this regard.”
Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron’s underage dating scandal was initiated by the Garosero Research Institute, a YouTube channel run by Kim Se Ui, known for his investigative content. They presented evidence suggesting that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron were involved in a secret relationship starting in 2015, when Kim Sae-ron was 15 years old, and that the relationship persisted for six years. This evidence included alleged diary entries from Kim Sae-ron and communications between the two, purportedly indicating a romantic involvement during her teenage years.
