TXT’s Yeonjun is one of the most loved K-pop idols. He enjoys great popularity worldwide. However, it looks like many are trying to benefit from his image. Yes, you read that right!
Yeonjun has recently become a victim of Deepfake technology. An AI-created intimate video of Yeonjun has gone viral on social media, leaving his fans angry. The video shows him kissing an unknown woman. Fans were quick to decode that it had been created with AI.

A fan took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “yeah this should be punishable by law like y’all have actually lost your minds.” Another one expressed disappointment saying, “Do yall even treat idols like real people or are they just characters in your delusional fantasies? Using AI to make them do these things, make them do anything is DISGUSTING.”

“Just because they are celebrities doesn’t give you the right to make.. fake AI videos of them doing who knows what and to think half of the ppl being excited abt this in the tt comments probably say they are against deepfakes… get a grip,” wrote a fan. Another one expressed anger over deepfakes and added, “People who use AI like this need to be openly bullied atp idc this definitely opens the door for genuinely sinister shit to happen and I don’t think enough of yall grasp that.”

TXT’s agency HYBE has not yet reacted to the same.
For the uninitiated, TXT is currently on a break to relax and spend time with their families.
