Eagle-eye fans from “Stranger Things” started a TikTok conspiracy that late serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer is in the background of one of the scenes from the show’s fourth season.
The social media platform posted a video showing Max, a character from the show. However, the focus is on Max’s background character. The video then cuts to a scene taken from “Monster:The Jeffrey Dahmer Story”, a Netflix documentary.
Background character is blond with his hair cut the same as Dahmer’s. He also wore the same glasses that Dahmer wore.
The Duffer Brothers, creators of “Stranger Things”, are well-known for making references to the time period during which the show takes place. However, this theory seems unlikely. Dahmer graduated high school in 1978, and the show is set in 1984.
The background character in the “Stranger Things” episode is blond. His hair was styled exactly the way Dahmer did his and he wore the exact same glasses as Dahmer.

TikTok doesn’t seem to be concerned with the fact that the conspiracy theory likely isn’t possible, as users continue to comment on the video.
The comments section is filled with people commenting “OMG” with one writing, “it was a reference I’m almost sure.” There were some commenters, however, who were quick to point out it wasn’t possible and that the guy they see on screen looks like any other teenager from the 1980s, with one saying everyone else in the comments section was reaching.
Since the release, Dahmer has attracted more attention to his life and crimes. Netflix DocuseriesSeptember. The show follows Dahmer’s childhood and adulthood and shows his conflicting relationships with his father, as well as his mother who is mentally unstable.
It also dives into his various crimes, starting the series with his final crime of attempted murder during which his victim managed to get away, ultimately leading to Dahmer’s arrest. Between 1978 and 1991 Dahmer raped 17 men and boys. In 1994, he was found dead in prison.

The show was a huge success, but it also caused controversy when the relatives of the victims voiced their disapproval, claiming that they were being traumatized. They also criticized the fact that no one had reached out to them before making the show.

She had worn the same clothes as me,” Rita Isbell, Rita’s brother Errol Lindsey was a victim of the attack, told Insider. It was like going back to the past. It brought back all of the emotions that I felt back then.
Isbell was talking about a scene in the documentary in which an actress makes a victim impact assessment. Dahmer’s trialAccording to her, it was verbatim exactly what she had said.
Isbell stated that she was not contacted regarding the show. “I feel like Netflix should have asked if they mind or what our feelings were about making the show. They didn’t ask me anything. They did it.
