FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Alabama’s season flashed before its eyes near a sideline in Northwest Arkansas on Saturday afternoon, and the hopes of as talented a roster as there is in the country hang by the AC joint in the throwing shoulder of quarterback Bryce Young.

Alabama’s talent is enough to have a great season even if Young was on the shelf indefinitely. It might even be able to win the championship with some luck. Young is a much more difficult candidate to climb those heights.
