After a team-bonding dinner, Kheira Hamraoui, Paris Saint-Germain’s midfielder, was beat with an iron bar in Chatou, west Paris, by a masked male.
She appeared to be being attacked by an attacker who was aiming for her legsDeeply purple bruises were left, as well as an open wound at her right back thigh. She also had gashes to her right right shin and the palm her right hand. These required stitches.
Hamraoui’s PSGAminata Diallo was their teammate at the time and was driving the car during the attack. She was tied to the steering wheel.
On Tuesday, November 9, five days after the attack, Diallo played 89 minutes in PSG’s midfield in a Champions LeagueFor the benefit of others Real Madrid. The club said Hamraoui was absent for “personal reasons”.
Diallo was detained at her Marly-le-Roi suburb home on Wednesday, November 10th. She was taken into custody and held there for 36 hours before being released on Thursday evening.
Monday, November 15th, the Versailles public prosecutor referred the case before any criminal trial to the magistrate who is responsible for conducting an investigation hearing. The investigation was opened for “aggravated assault” and “criminal conspiracy”.
