Reports: Jill Biden, the first lady, gets booed during an Eagles game

On Sunday, honorary captain Jill Biden, first lady of the Philadelphia Eagles was chosen to represent the team against NFC East rivals. Dallas CowboysIn Week 6.

Biden, like several Eagles players and Santa Claus, was booed by NFL fans when she entered Lincoln Financial Field.

Biden led fans through a rendition “Fly Eagles Fly”, was present for the coin toss, and was seen talking with Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers’ star. 

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Biden was at the event to promote the White House’s Cancer Moonshot initiative. Biden was joined by survivors and cancer patients, as well as their families, on the field.

President BidenBoth Jill Biden and the current president are huge Eagles fans. The current president was present at U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, during Super Bowl LII when Philadelphia captured their first title in a classic match against the Tom Brady-led New England Patriots.

In May 2021, the president gave a standing ovation to Eagles fans.

Biden stated at the time that Philadelphia fans were the most educated and obnoxious in the world.
