This is Sally the puppy’s inspirational story. Sally developed pneumonia while she was a puppy. She lost her ability to breathe. Sally was gasping for oxygen and was already blue when she was taken to the vet.
To help her breathe, Sally was forced to live in an oxygen chamber. Although she was initially told that she would only be in the bubble for a few days, it proved to be much longer.
She had to improve her lungs before she could go outside and had to slowly build up her endurance. They eventually made her moveable in a larger bubble. Sally would get excited when the vet techs went inside her bubble. Slowly, Sally started to leave her bubble. However, she only did so for a few minutes each day. Gradually she found that she could stay outside her bubble longer, but she always knew when her limit was and she had to come back inside. One day she surprised everyone at the hospital. She decided to choose the day when she would not want to go back in the bubble.
Sally was abandoned by her breeder and she went to live with Bonnie, a vet tech who knew her. Sally loves to explore new things with her family and is eager to learn more. It is an absolute joy to see her happiness in every moment.
