Here’s some of your reaction to the only football we’ve had so far in the preseason…
💬 Dan O: “I know it’s just the first preseason game being played with nonstarters and rookies, but Trey Lance looked like he belongs. I guess having Harbaugh hit your shoulder pads during pregame did the trick! Lance for the most part made his reads and had good touch on his passes.”
💬 Jan O: “Wow, go Trey. Being a solid backup was how Mayfield made it back.”
💬 LD: “This wasn’t a real football game I watched. The guys the Lions put on the field will be working at Amazon by the end of August.”
💬 Michael B: “What is the point of a virtual measurement system if the referee gets to place the ball before the measurement takes place? A bad ref can still spot the ball wherever they want, which was the problem that led to this being implemented in the first place.”
That last comment isn’t from me, by the way. Pure coincidence.
