Migrants sent to Martha’s Vineyard Are ‘Human Trafficking’

  • Hillary Clinton stated that sending migrants to Martha’s Vineyard was “literally human trafficking.”
  • Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sent 50 illegal migrants to Massachusetts on plants.
  • After blaming Democratic policies and a rise of migration, Republican legislators are sending migrants to blue-colored cities.

Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State, condemned the sending of planeloads of migrants from Massachusetts to Martha’s Vineyard.  

They 50 migrants arrived in two planes, on Tuesday, seemingly at the direction of Florida’s Republican governor, Ron DeSantis — Inadvertently, we have become pawns in a political game about U.S. Immigration policy. 

Clinton stated that some politicians would prefer to not only have an issue, but to exacerbate it to the point of literally human trafficking while appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

“I believe the vast majority of Americans are kind-hearted and generous. When people come knocking on their doors in need, they’ll respond. They will feed and house them. The AP Spanish students in high school will be allowed to leave so that they can translate.

Gov. DeSantisCredit takenChartering planes to transport undocumented migrants to Massachusetts’ island on Wednesday was an apparent attempt to make authorities in another state take responsibility. They were mostly from Venezuela. 

Martha’s Vineyard is a prestigious vacation spot where ex-President Barack Obama and Bill Clinton have a holiday home.

Taryn Fenske, DeSantis’ communications director, told Fox News DigitalThe move was part Florida’s “relocation plan to transport illegal immigrants into sanctuary destinations.”

Texas Gov. Greg AbbottSimilar policies were implemented by the Blue States to allow migrants to be sent from Texas to other blue states.

Other Democratic politicians condemned Martha’s Vineyard’s stunt. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez said it was equivalent to“crimes against humanity in refugee situations”

Julian Cyr, Massachusetts State Senator, told Martha’s Vineyard TimesIt was described as “deeply offensive.”

He said that “this is a cruel trick that manipulates families looking for a better future,” and described them as “fundamentally racism tactics.”
