McDonald’s Adult Happy Meal Sold out

McDonald’s released their “Happy Meal For Adults” Monday and it’s already proving a huge hit.

Insider spoke to three employees who said that the Cactus plant Flea Market meal promotion of the chain that began on October 3rd has been so successful that they ran out the necessary figurines or boxes.

Insider heard from a McDonald’s worker that they had “a line outside our store the very first day” and that “we were sold-out.” [of boxes]by 6 p.m. 

McDonald’s and Cactus Plant Flea Market collaborated to create the meal. Customers will receive a Big Mac or 10-piece McNuggets, medium fries, and a random figurine “toy” in a special box. It could be Grimace, Birdie, or the Hamburglar.The new Cactus Buddy or, is now available in a modern style featuring four eyes that were inspired by the Cactus brand. 

Another worker in Southern California stated that their location ran out the meal on the first night of the offer. Customers were forced to leave without placing orders. Crew member in New York stated that the store had to change to regular Happy Meal boxes for dinner and ran out toys just before closing.

The workers requested anonymity as they weren’t authorized to speak with the media, but Insider confirmed their employment.

Insider’s request for comment from McDonald’s regarding the promotion’s success was not met with any response.
