Drama follows Nour El Haj, the ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’ female suitor who missed her chance to find a life partner on the Netflix dating show but has now emerged as one of the breakout stars. Looking at her journey, it’s safe to say she brought up some ‘mean girl’ energy with her wicked speech, ruthless demeanor, and popularity which pretty much made her dominate the social circle of the reality series.
She was the “IT” girl, who everyone had something to say about, be it good or bad. Earlier in the pods, Nour developed an affection toward Chafic. The model even warned her dorm members to keep away from him, to assert a claim on the youngest male suitor. But things didn’t work out between the two as Chafic chose Dounia as his partner. After facing rejection, Nour kept her options open and chose Mido, a real estate consultant, to move ahead in the social experiment.
It was quite evident by Nour’s reaction that she wasn’t impressed by Mido’s physical appearance when they met each other face-to-face. And everything went downhill for the duo since. The discontent grew so much that Mido dropped out of the experiment without informing the Lebanese model, thereby ending their tumultuous relationship. Now, everyone’s wondering if Nour has a new Habibi in her life.
On the Hikmat Wehbi podcast, when asked if she has met someone who meets her standards, Nour cheekily deflected the question stating, “I’d rather not say.” During the same interaction, Nour also addressed the hate she received from the cast members over her high dating standards.
She explained, “You all watched the show. I never hurt anyone with my words. I never undermined anyone’s value. I was always talking about myself about what I love and prefer just as they talked about themselves and what they love and prefer. Why didn’t I take it personal and didn’t decide to attack? Because I don’t care about that.”
Nour continued, “I might not agree with Hikmat over 1, 2, and 3. You see life in a certain way. Your standards are different from mine. And I see life in a certain way. So I’m required even if I don’t agree with you to respect you and your perspective. But I’d say ‘Hikmat, sorry what you said doesn’t work for me. I don’t agree with you.’ And you’re also required to respect my opinion and perspective and my outlook on life. But to take it as a challenge, as in ‘You either think like I do or you’re wrong.’ Nope, there’s no right or wrong. Every person sees things from his own perspective. That’s all there is to it.”
It appears Nour isn’t ready to disclose her love life publicly yet.
