Who can ever forget Hajar’s infamous ‘eating cake before going on a diet’ comment and her misbehaviour toward a restaurant staff? She was one of the most controversial contestants on the Netflix dating reality series ‘Love is Blind, Habibi’. Now, the female suitor claims what made it to the final edits wasn’t real.
During her appearance on the Hikmat Wehbi podcast, Hajar said, “In the show’s episodes, all they showed was my spontaneity. They didn’t show my many other sides. They didn’t show that I was funny as my pods were very humorous. They didn’t show what I said in the lounge. They only showed my slipups. Unfortunately, if you take a long sentence and only show the part that creates a buzz everyone will attack you.”
When talking about enduring bullying, the female suitor added, “So at the beginning, people attacked me viciously. I got a lot of bullying and then later, after the reunion, everyone spoke up about bullying and how they were unfair to us. Why this hypocrisy?”
She blamed all the cast members including her ex-partner Simo for not taking a stand for her, “I didn’t see anyone supporting me except for Nour. No one felt bad even Simo did nothing. Simo supported other people.” Another shocking revelation that Hajar made was about Simo’s exit. What we know as viewers is that Simo left Hajar without informing her because she didn’t take a stand for him during a fight. But Hajar says, “That wasn’t the truth whatsoever. Simo’s departure wasn’t about using that information. It wasn’t that he left and I got dumped on national television.”
Hajar claims everyone knows the truth and if she wasn’t bound by a contract she would have happily exposed the reality. “He made demands for the production and if he didn’t get it, he’d leave. He didn’t get it, so he left. So what happens next? We need a reason for that and what was that? Hajar and her slip of the tongue. Let’s paint the image like that and that’s how it went. The reality wasn’t as they showed,” Hajar explained.
Hajar and Simo aren’t on talking terms now.
