Lions’ Jared Goff Says It’s ‘Very Cool’ Taylor Swift Mentioned Him on Kelce’s Podcast

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff reacted to Taylor Swift mentioning him during her appearance on New Heights, the podcast hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce.

“It’s pretty crazy, huh? Very cool, I guess,” Goff told reporters, via TMZ Sports.

The Lions signal-caller also revealed that he went through “a crazy couple hours” after the podcast released as he received several phone calls and text messages.

Goff’s name was mentioned during the podcast as Swift explained how she thought football was played prior to starting her relationship with Travis.

It’s interesting that the passer’s name was brought up by the 14-time Grammy Award-winner considering Detroit hasn’t faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs since her relationship with Travis went public in Oct. 2023.

That’ll change during the 2025 season, as Swift will get a closer look at Goff and the Lions when they travel to Arrowhead Stadium for a clash with Kelce and the Chiefs on Oct. 12.
