Kayakers Rescue Six Newborn Puppies Dumped in River
A peaceful afternoon of kayaking on the Blackstone River in Massachusetts took a shocking turn when a group of paddlers spotted a potato sack floating in the water. The case has outraged both the community and law enforcement. Chief Lourie condemned the act in strong terms: “This is an unspeakable act. We are determined to find the individual responsible and charge them with six counts of animal cruelty.” The Uxbridge Police Department also issued a public statement, calling the suspect a “low life” and labeling the incident “heinous and unconscionable.”
Now, the focus is on ensuring justice. Police are actively investigating, urging anyone with information about the puppies or their abandonment to come forward. In the meantime, the community has rallied in support of the little survivors, with offers to foster or adopt once they are old enough.
