Hugh Jackman, Wolverine actor and Wolverine actress, has revealed that he is now completely cancer-free after several skin cancer checks in the last few days. BBC.

Taking to his social media, the star said, “ “My biopsies came back negative!!! I am grateful for all the support. I feel it!”
Jackman had previously been diagnosed with skin carcinoma and underwent surgery in 2013 to remove it. He has had six similar procedures since then.
In his video, the 54-year-old star revealed his doctor noticed “little things” that could or could not be “basal cell [carcinomas]”.
Basal cells do not spread because they are non-melanoma. They develop from overexposure to sun and sunbeds. The NHS rates non-melanoma skin carcinoma treatment at 90%.
Jackman assured his fans that this form of skin cancer is “the least dangerous.” He hopes his story will remind people to be careful when going out in the sun. “Please wear sunscreen.” He notes that it is “just not worth it, no matter how much you want a tan.”
Melanoma is the most common form of skin cancer in the United States. More than 11500 people have been diagnosed. Annually, 434,000 people are treated for other types of skin cancers.

Jackson spoke out about his 2015 skin cancer discovery in an interview with People magazine. He said, “I never wore sunscreen growing up so I was a prime candidate for it.”
