As per reports, Hyeri has been offered to play the female lead in upcoming series ‘Dreaming of You‘. If she comes on board, she will be romancing ‘Family By Choice‘ star Hwang In-youp, who is also in talks to join the project.
What is ‘Dreaming of You’ about? The rom-com will tell the story of two individuals in their 30s. Woo Soo-bin, a film director who breaks free from the life planned for him by his parents to pursue his dreams. The upcoming K-drama is being written by Im Me-ri, known for working on popular K-dramas like ‘Beauty Inside‘ and ‘Doom At Your Service‘.
Hyeri is one of the most loved actresses in the industry. She was last seen in ‘Friendly Rivalry‘, where she played the role of Yoo Je-yi. Her performance was well-received by fans, particularly her chemistry with Chung Soo-bin won hearts.
Talking about In-youp, he was last seen in ‘Family By Choice‘ alongside Jung Chae-yeon and Bae Hyeon-seong. They play close friends who, though not biologically related, are raised together as family.
Fans are waiting for his next project. As per reports, he is set to make a cameo in the upcoming K-drama ‘Dear X‘ starring Kim Yoo-jung. He will be playing the role of Heo In-kang, a top celebrity who transitioned from being an idol to an actor. The Lee Eung-bok directorial is expected to be released in 2025.
