The rescuers tried to find a foster home for him that night, but after several unsuccessful attempts, they fed him and promised to return the next morning.
When they did, they were met with a shocking discovery—there weren’t just one, but two more abandoned dogs.

Realizing they couldn’t immediately secure homes for all three, the rescuers made a decision: they would care for them while searching for forever families.

A Tragic Accident Changes Everything
Things seemed to be improving, but tragedy struck when one of the dogs, Roku, was hit by a car.
Panicked, the rescuers rushed him to the nearest veterinary clinic, where X-rays revealed a broken femur.
The injury required urgent surgery—and the costs were high. But thankfully, the rescuers knew a kind-hearted surgeon who agreed to operate for a reduced fee.
After surgery, Roku was placed in a foster home, where he began his long road to recovery.
There, he made new friends, Bett and Terry, who helped him heal with love and patience.
Despite his ordeal, his resilience shone through—and with each passing day, he grew stronger.
Now, Roku is preparing for his final foster home—his last stop before finding the forever family he deserves.
A New Beginning for Three Abandoned Pups
As for the other two dogs, Raya and Roger, they were never forgotten.
Throughout Roku’s recovery, rescuers continued to care for them, feed them, and love them.
Now, all three dogs are looking for their forever homes, and their rescuers remain hopeful that they will find the perfect families who will never abandon them again.
