The Pixel Watch will allow Fitbit integration. You may want to add $10/month or $80/year to the cost of the watch. We wonder if Google will offer a 3-12 month free premium on most Fitbit watches.
Pixel Watch: Design
Google Pixel Watch features a flat design from edge to edge. It evokes the 2015 Moto 360. The rotating crown is located in the center of the case. There are buttons on the bottom of the casing. This gives the watch a more refined look while still remaining functional.
Google shared an official video that showcased the Pixel Watch design in all angles. Click the image above to get a closer look.

The person who discovered the Pixel Watch abandoned Detailed explanationIt will have 20mm bands. We measured it at 40mm width and 14mm depth. This is a remarkable case size compared to watches such as the 9.8mm Galaxy Watch or 10.7mm Apple Watch.
According to the leaker, the crown is not protruding into the wearer’s wrist when they bend their wrist. It’s also more comfortable than the Galaxy Watch 4, despite its thick appearance. Although he did call the bezels “pretty substantial”, many will view this as a negative. We have since seen contradicting renders. different bezel sizesThis has only made things more confusing.
Pixel Watch: The Specs
Google didn’t disclose any information at I/O about the Pixel Watch, but we have received some leaks that provide us with some useful information about the upcoming device. Some of it is promising… some less so.
Referring to the Pixel Watch’s processorAccording to a May leak, it will most likely use the 2018 Exynos9110 chipset first seen in the original Galaxy Watch. Samsung uses the Exynos W920 now in the Galaxy Watch 4. However, Google started designing the watch before the 9110 was available. According to rumors, Google didn’t redesign its Pixel Watch to include the newer model.
For consistent performance, Samsung’s hardware has always outperformed Snapdragon Wear chips. However, we are now able to beat them. Be concerned and disappointedGoogle’s 2022 smartwatch will be built on old hardware. We spoke with an analyst who suggested that Samsung may have been hoarding its Exynos W920 processor for Galaxy Watch 4/5 models. It is likely this was due to the recent silicon shortage. Google has limited options.
A second one Leakage of Pixel Watch hardwareThis news has somewhat lessened the shock. Google may pair the Exynos 9110 to a coprocessor that splits the load for simpler tasks. The Exynos 9110 will reportedly have more RAM than the 1.5GB in the Galaxy Watch 4. We don’t know the exact number but it seems that 2GB is the implication. It could also have a massive 32GB storage.
An insider can help you determine the battery life. Source told 9to5GoogleAccording to the Pixel Watch, its battery has a capacity of “just under 300mAh” and is expected to last for one day when used regularly. However, they could not confirm whether this included additional settings like sleep tracking or always-on display. This Galaxy Watch 5 40mm model packs a 284mAh battery, which is pretty impressive for its longevity.
Recent Fitbit app APK code deep-dive by 9to5Google revealed that the Pixel Watch will need a 30% charge or more “to track a full night’s sleep.” It’s worrying that the Pixel Watch will be able to last for a full day on a single charge.
According to the same source, it would take 110 minutes for the watch to fully charge. The watch will require users to charge their watch for almost two hours per day, which is a major drawback.
Software: Pixel Watch
Google provided very limited information about Pixel Watch software. But leakers filled in the gaps and gave us an excellent picture. Let’s start with what we know. DoInform yourself about the software.
An Android phone running Android 8 and above is required to use the Pixel Watch. We are not surprised that Google will not make the Pixel Watch accessible for iOS users. We are certain it will be used. Wear OS 3However, it’ll be different from the Wear OS3 on the Galaxy Watch 5 in terms of UI. Google specifically claims it will have a “refreshed user interface and rich notifications.” The Pixel Watch will be similar to any Fitbit or Wear OS tracker, in many ways.
Google has stated that the Pixel Watch will be able to support Google Assistant, Google Maps and contactless payments via Google Wallet. Other than the Galaxy Watch 4, the majority of the Wear OS watches at their bestSupport Assistant and other core Google apps are also available.
Recent Pixel Watch app leakThe watch will include a Google Home app, which essentially turns it into a smart home controller that can adjust your smart lights and thermostat.
As for Fitbit integrationGoogle claims that the Pixel Watch will provide continuous heart rate, sleep tracking, Active Minutes, stat-tracking and other features to help you reach your “personal health goals.” It warns that some features may require Fitbit account or mobile app, which refers to the fact that it will need a Fitbit account. Fitbit PremiumSubscribe to gain access.
It will be interesting for you to see how the Pixel Watch experience compares with “stock” Fitbit watches, such as the Fitbit Sense 2 — especially whether the Pixel Watch will offer other sensors besides the HRM, such as SpO2, ECG, or EDA. They will make it harder to access Fitbit health data than watches that are much more affordable.
Google also mentioned that Pixel Watch “is a natural extension of Google’s helpful Pixel portfolio, joining Pixel phones and Pixel Buds.” Google is hoping to achieve a similar sync with its own devices, much like the Apple Watch does with your iPhone or AirPods.
Google did not share any additional details at that time, but they recently APK deep-diveThe Pixel Watch will be able to support “Smart Unlock”, which allows your Android phone to remain unlocked when it sees your watch.

Additional diggingMaterial You has unveiled a Material You-esque design with multiple color options and watch faces that change colors from day to night. Wear OS 3 has a new feature that allows OEMs to create their own UI design with a “skin”. Google could give the software on the Pixel Watch a unique look similar to the Pixel 6.
However unlikely, Google may even support Pixel Watch “skin gestures”This patent was filed in 2020. In theory, the watch would use accelerometers to detect finger swipes on the skin around your watch with a “mechanical wave that propagates through the portion of a body of the user between an input region and the wearable device.” Google last tried gimmicky gesture controls with the SoliIt’s possible that Google might try this, as the sensor was found on the Pixel 4.
