- George Conway accused Donald Trump, the former President, of inciting violence again.
- Conway stated that he feels like he’s being persecuted “for no valid reason” with regard to Mar-a-Lago.
- Conway, speaking on CNN, stated that Conway was “absolutely encouraging people to engage violence.”
George Conway, a conservative lawyer, said that former President Donald Trump incited violence by telling millions people he is “being persecuted without valid reason” in connection to the Mar-a-Lago investigation.
CNN asked Conway Friday night about Conway InterviewIf Trump would describe Trump’s response to him as a “threat”, he said so.
Conway stated, “Yes, absolutely.” Conway stated, “Yes, absolutely.”
Last month, the FBI executed an arrest warrant The former president’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida and recovered several boxes containing classified records that Trump took with him from the White House once he left office, according to the court records made public.Â
According to court filings the search resulted in more than 20 boxes that contained some “11,000 documents and 1,800 additional items from the office or storage room.” Insider’s Sonam Sheth reported some boxes were clearly marked as “top-secret”.Â
According to the court, some of these materials may contain confidential and sensitive information such as medical, tax, or accounting records.Â
Trump denies all allegations of wrongdoing. He stated that he had been “aware”declassified” He also  that “everyone ends up having to bring home their work from time to time.”
Trump recently stated that he would have “big problems” if indicted for the probe.
Conway made the comments in a comparison to the Capitol riot which led to several deaths and injuries. Federal prosecutors have already charged 910 people over a year.Â
CNN reported that Conway said, “It’s basically January 6, all over again.” Conway said that although he denies inciting violence, the truth is that he is inciting violent behavior because… he has convinced millions of people that there is no valid reason for him to be persecuted. He knows this and is terrified that he was caught red-handed taking government documents of the highest security nature.
Conway stated, “By telling this lie to the American people he is absolutely encouraging them to engage in violence.” It’s clear that it is.
