The Football Association are looking into an incident which occurred during Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
The body has not yet confirmed the identities of those involved. Referee Michael Oliver ran from the touchline and spoke to Jurgen Klopp, Mikel Arteta, and Jurgen Klapp after an incident in the penalty box.
They released a statement which said: “We are aware of an incident that took place during the match between Arsenal and Liverpool.
“We are in dialogue with the match officials and will review the details of the incident.”
Now, the FA must decide whether or not to continue with an investigation into this incident.
Arsenal won the match due to a goal by Gabriel Martinelli and a brace by Bukayo Saka. Though Liverpool equalised twice, Saka’s penalty gave Arsenal a rare victory over their Merseyside visitors.
