Some 700 passengers have been left stranded after a Eurostar prepare broke down half-hour after leaving London’s St Pancras station on Thursday, reported the BBC.
The prepare departed for Amsterdam at 8.16 a.m. however stopped on the entrance to the Channel Tunnel, which connects England to France, per the report.

A spokesperson for Eurostar advised The Impartial that it apologizes for the incident and is transporting the passengers again to London.

It is not the primary time passengers have been left stranded after a prepare broke down. In January, passengers have been caught on an Amtrak prepare for 29 hours after one other prepare had derailed. In August 2022, passengers have been stranded within the undersea Eurotunnel for 5 hours after a Le Shuttle prepare broke down.
Eurostar didn’t instantly reply to Enterprise Insider’s request for remark.
