In the quiet hours of the night in Jacksonville, Florida, something completely unexpected unfolded in one neighborhood. Christie Barr went to bed thinking it would be a night like any other. But by morning, her driveway looked like a small auto shop explosion had taken place. Her Honda SUV was torn apart, and not by thieves or vandals.
What actually happened was so strange that Christie had to pull up her Ring camera footage just to believe it herself. “On the video, you could see both of ’em tugging on it,” Christie said. “And they were tugging so hard that my car moved.”

No one could make sense of why two dogs would do something like this. It wasn’t just a few scratches. They were relentless, pulling off panels and chewing through the front end like it was a chew toy.

Turns out, the cat was trying to escape, and the dogs were determined to get to her. But the cat had the last word. She managed to stay perfectly still and hidden during the chaos, and by the time the dogs gave up and wandered off, she was still safely tucked away inside the car, completely unharmed.
Christie was in disbelief. “Nobody believed me until they saw it on tape,” she said. “It was just bizarre. Nobody believed that dogs would do that.”
