Every Dog Deserves a Day at the Beach
For most dogs, the simple joys of life—like feeling the wind in their fur, chasing waves, or digging in the sand—are moments of pure happiness.
But for disabled dogs, these simple pleasures can feel like a distant dream.
Many dogs with mobility challenges struggle to navigate certain terrains. Rocky landscapes, thick undergrowth, and sandy beaches can all be impossible to explore—especially for dogs who rely on wheelchairs.
But one determined woman refused to let that stop them.
A Mission of Love and Second Chances
Meet Salima Kadaoui, the founder of SFT Animal Sanctuary in Tangiers, Morocco.
Dedicated to giving injured and abandoned dogs a second chance, Salima has rescued countless animals—many of whom were hit by cars and left for dead.
She believes that disability should never define a dog’s life, and she works tirelessly to rehabilitate and care for them.
Then, on July 4th, she gave 18 of her disabled dogs a gift they had never experienced before: a magical day at the beach.

A Heartwarming Scene Like No Other
Imagine relaxing by the shore, hearing laughter and barking in the distance, only to look up and see 18 dogs in wheelchairs racing across the sand.
That’s exactly what happened!
Despite only having working front legs, these incredible pups raced full speed alongside Salima, their wheels kicking up tiny clouds of sand as they zoomed by.
The joy was contagious.
🐾 Dogs of all sizes joined the fun—from a tiny Corgi to a German Shepherd, proving that mobility issues weren’t going to slow them down.
🐾 One playful pup stole Salima’s shoe, shaking it proudly before returning it.
🐾 Another cheeky dog grabbed the wheel of his friend’s wheelchair in his mouth—but that didn’t stop them from pushing forward at full speed!
It was pure happiness from the moment they hit the sand—and the video captured every second of it.

A Lesson in Resilience and Gratitude
These dogs don’t feel sorry for themselves.
They don’t think about what they’re missing—they just love what they have.
And in many ways, they remind us of an important life lesson:
⭐ Instead of focusing on what we don’t have, we should appreciate the blessings in front of us.
Salima’s sanctuary currently cares for nearly 600 animals, including dogs, cats, donkeys, and even monkeys.
It’s an endless responsibility, but as she watches her rescued dogs thrive, she knows it’s worth every moment.
