Last week, a couple was driving down a North Carolina highway when they noticed something unusual. The couple noticed a suitcase that had been left behind, which seemed to be moving.
They noticed the tiny nose protruding from the bag corner that was unzipped as soon as they slowed down. After quickly opening the suitcase, they discovered four adorable puppies.
After grabbing the puppies, the pair drove to Guilford County Animal Services. When they claimed to have discovered a bag full of puppies, a member of the shelter staff who encountered them in the parking lot initially didn’t believe them. It seemed absurd. He did eventually notice the four young faces.
The staff member told The Dodo, “We all expressed disbelief that someone would do that.
The female puppies had a lack of confidence in their caregivers. They may have feared that they would be abandoned by outsiders. They have learned to adapt since moving into the shelter and the kind rescue team has shown them how love feels.
The shelter representative added, “They are quite scared and shy.” “Our staff is connecting and playing with them because the medical team says they haven’t experienced much human socialization,” the staff member said.
The puppies’ names, Tumi, Samsonite, Stowaway, and Carion (as in “carry on”), are luggage and travel-related.
Once they have completed their medical examinations, socialization and been adopted, the puppies can be offered for adoption.
These two Good Samaritans will ensure that these dogs are never forgotten, despite the fact that they were abandoned.
