BTS’ Jimin is one of the most loved K-pop idols and there’s no denying that. He recently took to Weverse to share an update on his military service, with just months remaining for his discharge. The BTS member shared excitement about reuniting with ARMY (BTS fandom) and revealed that he’s been thinking about changing his fashion, working on the group album, performing on stage, and more.
When asked what he has been thinking, Jimin shared, “These days, I’m thinking about how long I should grow my hair out. I’m going to grow it out quickly, right? I can wear earrings, right? I hope it’s not blocked? Should I change my outfit style? I’ve never used perfume before. Should I use it?”
The singer further added that he often thinks the genre of music the group would explore for their comeback, adding that he wants to perform on stage for a long time. “What song should I sing? What kind of album will we start talking about? What kind of journey will my 30s be? I want to perform for a long time without getting sick,” Jimin said.

Jimin enlisted in the military in December 2023 and will be discharged in June this year. RM, Suga, V, and Jungkook will also be discharged in June 2025. On the other hand, Jin completed his military service in June 2024, and J-Hope was discharged in October last year.
Post reunion, BTS is expected to release an album and go on a world tour. At HYBE’s yearly meeting with shareholders, CEO Lee Jae-sang opened up about the group’s highly anticipated comeback, saying that the members are already working with top-tier songwriters to prepare for their return. He added that they need enough time to carefully think about everything.
