After hearing the dog bark for several days straight, a South Asian rescue was contacted by a concerned owner.
Rescuers arrived to discover that the house had no electricity and was possibly abandoned for many years.
They didn’t suspect a dog existed based on the look of the residence until they heard barking. They found a tiny puppy in the basement, which was chained and couldn’t be moved or escaped.
They quickly launched her and untied the rope around her neck. The rope was so tight around her neck, it had become embedded in her skin. This left her with raw, painful skin.
They took her to the vet where she was treated for her injuries and put her on a diet.
She was able to continue living a normal lifestyle despite her neck injury.
It’s unknown who tied up and abandoned this poor pup in that deserted home, but what matters most is that she is now safe and doesn’t ever have to worry about being left behind ever again!
