HBO was naturally able to acquire the rights for the Ice and Fire character Ageon I Targaryen after massive success of House of the Dragon, Game of Thrones, and House of the Dragon. Fans were eager to see the beginning of the story, as both shows repeatedly referenced the Targaryen first line and their prophecies that foretold 300 year ago. According to VarietyHBO can launch a story by starting with a film and turning it into a full-fledged TV series.
For those who haven’t seen Game of Thrones, or House of the Dragon yet, we have collected some information about Aegon 1 and his importance to the lore.
Who is Aegon II?
His early years are unknown. Aegon IA Lord of Dragonstone and a son of Lord Aerion and Lady Valaena Velaryon, he was also known as Lord Valaena Velaryon. According to Ice and Fire Valyrian TargaryenTradition permits you to marry within your family. He chose to marry two women, instead of just one. He married his older sibling. Aegon I was crowned the King. However, Visenya as well as Rhaenys were co-rulers of the kingdom.

Targaryens have the ability to control dragons using spells and sorcery and an object called the dragon horn. It is also the reason why bloodline purity must be maintained.
Lore asserts that Aegon claimed the title BalerionBefore he got married, he was the largest dragon to ever exist in the series. His sister/wives also had dragons: Visenya rode VhagarRhaenys and he rode Meraxes.
His Conquest of Westeros, which he portrayed in the shows, made him famous.

What made Aegon Targaryen the king of seven kingdoms?
Old Valyria was not destroyed by an event called Doom,Aegon and Dragonstone were the first place all lifeforms mysteriously died. He was able to help Essos win a battle due to his enormous dragon. He then turned his attention to Westeros, which he had always been intrigued by. He and his wives made the decision to change the status quo as the seven kingdoms were constantly at war.

Things have changed dramatically since then Storm King, Argilac Durrandon, sent his daughter’s marriage proposal to Aegon. Aegon, who had already been married twice, refused to accept the proposal and instead offered his half-brother, who was his best friend. Orys Baratheon, as Argilac’s daughter’s husband. While this move began a battle between him and Harren Hoare, the King of the Islands and the Rivers regions, it backfired when Argilac’s daughter, who was insulted, chopped off the hands of Aegon’s envoy.
Aegon wrote letters shortly after to the seven kingdoms, claiming to be their only king. There was a struggle across seven kingdoms as some people gave up, while others refused. Each sibling had their part, and Dorne was the last region that gave up. They built a fort at the Blackwater Rush. The area was then called King’s Landing. Although Velaryon and Celtigar showed their support, they still needed additional allies. They were also helped by their dragon. Many houses joined them because of their fear.
However, those who were unhappy joined forces with Maidenpool and Duskendale lords. Aegon was accompanied by Orys, and he won again. He continued to face opposition despite the crown.
How Westroes was reshaped
Aegon the Conquerer, as he was known colloquially, fought with Harren Hoare, but the latter’s man rebelled against him, thanks to House Tully. Harrenhal was killed due to their support and Edmyn Tlly was made Lord Paramount for the Trident. Orys and Rhaenys seized control of the Stormlands. After Argilac Durrandon’s death, his daughter became the queen. They gave her to Orys because they feared another battle. He married her, and he founded House Baratheon. It made him the first Lord Parmount of the Stormlands.

Crownlands surrendered and Houses Gardener Lannister, Oakheart, and Lannister formed a team to defeat Aegon. In the end, the three siblings went into war, killing hundreds and ending Gardener & Oakheart’s linesage. Loren Lannister saw this and surrendered, becoming the Warden for the West. Harlen Tyrell, the Gardeners’ steward, surrendered to Loren Lannister and was made Warden of South. Lord Torrhen StarkOutnumbered in the battle, he became the Warden of NorthWhile Queen Regent was seated, Sharra Arryn bent her knee and made her son Warden of East.
Dorne remains unconquered
Dorne remained steadfast despite many battles. Princess Deria Martell was the daughter of Nymor MartellThe ruling Prince of DorneAegon was also present when Dorne met him. Aegon, after many years of war, decided to end the war and they maintained good relations.
Rhaenys, a true warrior, loved music, dance, poetry, and supported many singers and musicians. […]Rhaenys was, according to some, more fondly attached to dragonback than her siblings. This is because she loved to fly.

The aftermath
The remaining 24 years of his life went peacefully, and the era was also called Dragon’s Peace. Balerion’s flames melted the swords of his enemies to create the Iron Throne. Aegon held Westeros under his control due to the Fear of the Dragon and the Favor of the Faith of the Seven. Aegon creates Iron Islands his kingdom and keeps his title, even though he did not win Drone.
