A woman answered a phone call regarding a puppy in severe hypothermia. She had no idea what she was about to find.
The man who had a heart of gold had put the poor furry friend in a cardboard box, which was snowed to the point that it became freezing.
A tiny hypothermic pup was fighting for his survival in the freezing temperatures.
Tamara was shocked to see such a vulnerable and small creature be hurt. If she hadn’t answered the call for help, it was only a matter of hours before the little guy left this cruel world.
She took the baby into her arms without hesitation and took him to the veterinary clinic.
The puppy’s condition was extremely serious, his body temperature was so low that the vet couldn’t even detect it, and he was breathing very weakly and barely moving.
Because he was so dehydrated, his tiny body looked fragile. He also had no pressure. Unfortunately, there were no other tests that could be done to determine his true condition.
Tamara volunteers with the Dublin Shelter rescue organization. They took the boy in and did everything possible to save him.
Because Joseph needed a miracle to keep him going, they named him Joseph.
They placed him on a heating pad at the clinic to help him regain his ideal body temperature.
Although it seemed like a good idea, things quickly got complicated when his breathing became weaker.
Little José needed to receive a blood transfusion. The veterinarians would need to wait for a miracle, so Jose would spend several days in hospital. But faith and hope would be the last thing to go. They would not stop fighting.
After just a few days, his condition improved dramatically.
He was not only in hypothermia at the time of his arrival, but also had parasites living inside that were feeding on him. This was causing him severe symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting and fever.
So they proceeded with an immediate deworming, and Jose, despite his small size and delicate condition, didn’t seem to want to give up at all, clinging to life from the first second he arrived at the clinic.
The puppy showed signs of life within a day. It was encouraging and uplifting for all.
Jose was in pain and still required intravenous medicine. Although this could make Jose very uncomfortable, all the vets tried to make Jose feel as confident as possible and relieve as much pain as possible.
Jose was able to recover beautifully thanks to the selflessness and love of his heroes.
It’s only a matter time before the puppy to whom a heartless man had wanted to save the worst fate will be transformed and receive the tender, loving love he deserves.
