‘The Hills’ star Lo Bosworth announces she’s married and pregnant

Lo Bosworth is married and is expecting her first child!

The Hills alum and her fiancé Dom Natale tied the knot in a dreamy beachside wedding in Laguna Beach, Calif., on Sunday, July 20, PEOPLE reports. She confirmed her pregnancy in an Instagram post on Monday, sharing snapshots from their ceremony that featured her in a white gown with her hands placed on her growing baby bump. 

“We said yes with joy,” Bosworth captioned the photo set. “And life, with its most tender timing, said yes right back. 🤍💍🍼” 

On her Instagram Story, Bosworth revealed how the couple ended up celebrating two major milestones at the same time. 

“We were wedding planning and had our IV transfer scheduled simultaneously in the hopes we would get lucky,” the reality star wrote. “We could not be more thrilled our baby got to be a part of our big day, and helped define our wedding celebration.”

She added, “We’re so grateful for all of the well wishes, and so happy to finally share our secret blessing with all of you!” 

Bosworth announced that she and Natale had gotten engaged in an Instagram post in January, writing in part, “For you, my darling, it could only be a ‘yes.’” 

Speaking with PEOPLE, Bosworth explained that they had previously planned to throw a big New York City wedding, but shifted gears after beginning their fertility journey. 

“Once our family plans got underway however, we changed course to something we knew would be perfect if I was lucky enough to get pregnant: an intimate wedding with our closest family members enjoyed at home,” she told the outlet. “We could take off our shoes, stretch out, enjoy great food and the beautiful decor and relax.”

Plus, she noted that getting “married at home in Laguna felt right for us,” adding, “We’ve both been in NYC for about 15 years and for me, going home to Laguna to get married feels very full-circle.”

The Love Wellness founder, who is “about four months pregnant,” said that she and Natale “didn’t know if our planned IVF cycle would be successful” when they set their July wedding date, but that she bought a few extra wedding dresses just in case. 

“Three weeks before my wedding, nothing fit, and I put into a call to my stylist friend, Thomas Carter Phillips, who works with an incredibly talented tailor, Hailey Desjardins, to build me a dress from scratch,” she recalled. “At that point, I was more than three months pregnant, had gained weight from the transfer medications, and was starting to show. We decided a classic look that accentuated my bump would be best.”

She continued, “My finished dress got delivered at 8 p.m. the night before I left for our wedding, and I could not be more grateful to Tommy and Hailey for saving me in one the most extreme pinches of my life.”

Several of Bosworth’s pals all took to the Instagram comments of her post to celebrate all of the good news, including DWTS alum Lindsay Arnold, Jennie Garth, and her Hills costar, Allie Lutz. 

“Beautiful!” Lutz wrote. “You’re going to be a wonderful wife and momma.”

Bosworth joined the cast of The Hills — starring opposite Lutz, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag, Whitney Port, Lauren Conrad, Spencer Pratt, Kristin Cavallari, and Brody Jenner — as a recurring guest in its second season. She returned for the next three seasons before officially being bumped to a main cast member in its sixth and final season in 2010.
