‘Weak Hero Class 2’: Best moments from Park Ji-hoon, Ryeoun’s Netflix series

Weak Hero Class 2‘ premiered on Netflix on April 25, 2025. In the second season, Yeon Si-eun (played by Park Ji-hoon) transfers to a new school, only to come face to face with greater violence. He is joined by his new friends – Park Hu-min aka Baku (Ryeoun), Go Yun-tak (Lee Min-jae), and Seo Jun-tae (Choi Min-yeong) to take down the Union, led by Na Baek-jin (Bae Na-ra).

While season two may have some flaws, it delivers action, drama, and more. Here are some of the best moments from the ‘Weak Hero Class‘ season 2.

Si-eun stands up for Jun-tae: In episode one of the series, Jun-tae reaches out to Si-eun for help after getting bullied by Park Hyo-man (Yu Su-bin). ‘Do you know Newton’s third law? Without any action, there won’t be a reaction,’ advises Si-eun. Touched by his words, Jun-tae stands up to Hyo-man, but he ends up getting beaten up badly. As things get worse, Si-eun stands up for Jun-tae, and later forms a meaningful friendship with him. We all need a friend like this!

Jun-tae using bread as a mouth guard: We loved how Jun-tae stood up for himself despite knowing he is not as strong a fighter as Hyo-man is. The moment where he creatively uses bread as a mouth guard is definitely one of our favourites.

Si-eun tells Baek-jin to stay away from Ahn Su-ho: The scene where Si-eun threatens the Union’s leader Na Baek-jin to stay away from Su-ho, while he is in a coma, speaks volumes of his love for his best friend. We loved every minute of it.

Jo Jung-suk’s cameo: Jo Jung-suk showing up as Mr. Choi, the manager of Na Baek-jin was the cameo we did not expect. But we must say, he killed it.

‘It’s not your fault’: One of the most heartfelt moments comes when Jun-tae tells Si-eun what he needed to hear the most. That he wasn’t responsible for putting his friend, Su-ho, into coma. The moment Si-eun cries, it leaves you teary-eyed, but it’s good to see Jun-tae healing a heart he didn’t break.

Eunjang High vs Union: The finale episode featured an epic showdown between Eunjang High boys and the Union member. If Eunjang wins, the Union must stop bullying the students and leave them alone, but if Baek-jin wins, Eunjang High becomes a part of the Union. Baku and Baek-jin get into an intense fight. At one point, Baku’s body gives up, and it appears Baek-jin might win, but then comes Si-eun with knuckle dusters. As he lies on the ground defeated, Baku rises from the ground and takes down Baek-jin with a strong punch, claiming Eunjang High’s victory over Union.

Si-eun and Su-ho’s reunion: One of the most heartwarming moments was when Si-eun got an unexpected call from the hospital. He and his new friends – Baku (Ryeuon), Yun-tak (Lee Min-jae), and Jun-tae (Choi Min-yeong) run to find Ahn Su-ho (Choi Hyun-wook), awake, sitting in a wheelchair in the hospital yard. Si-eun and Su-ho’s reunion left us emotional.
