South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun, popular for his performances in K-drama ‘Queen of Tears’ and ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,’ is now at the center of a shocking scandal. Allegations have surfaced that he was in a secret relationship with late actress Kim Sae-ron, who passed away earlier in February at the age of 24.
A viral video posted by YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, also known as Hoverlab, alleges Soo-hyun began dating Sae-ron when she was 15, a minor, and he was 27. Their relationship allegedly lasted for six years and Soo-hyun distanced himself from Sae-ron after her DUI controversy. This revelation has sparked heated discussions online, with many questioning the validity of the accusations and their potential impact on the actor’s career.
Amid this, netizens also bombarded Jung Hae-in and Im Si-wan’s social media posts with comments demanding to unfollow Kim Soo-hyun. They were all part of MBC’s music variety show Good Day, including G-Dragon, Lee Soo-hyuk, and Kwanghee. From the cast members Jung Hae-in and Im Si-wan were the only ones to follow Kim Soo-hyun on social media. It is important to note the rest of the cast members didn’t unfollow Soo-hyun, their following list was limited to one or zero followers originally.
Netizens flooded Jung Hae-in and Im Si-wan’s Instagram with negative comments. Now, it has been reported that Im Si-wan has unfollowed Kim Soo-hyun on social media. Additionally, Ahn Bo-hyun of the ‘Yumi’s Cells’ fame also unfollowed the ‘Queen of Tears’ star.
The development comes not long after the production team of Good Day issued an official statement confirming they have decided, “to edit out Kim Soo Hyun’s scenes as much as possible.”
