Matt Damon and Zendaya are currently in Italy shooting for Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey‘. New pictures from the set have surfaced online.
Matt, who has previously worked with Nolan in ‘Oppenheimer‘ and ‘Interstellar‘, looks unrecognisable. In the new pics, he was seen wearing a pair of baggy pants and showing off his ripped body. He sported a long white beard. In one of the pictures, he is seen interacting with Nolan.
Another picture shows Zendaya laughing while interacting with one of the team members. In another picture, she is seen sitting beside Damon on the beach.

The upcoming film stars Damon as Odysseus. The makers have not revealed which role Zendaya will be playing in ‘The Odyssey‘. Based on Homer’s Greek poem, Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey‘ tells the story of Odysseus, the Ancient Greek King of Ithaca, and his journey home following the Trojan War. Along the way, he encounters divine forces and mythical creatures.
Apart from Damon and Zendaya, ‘The Odyssey‘ also stars Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Elliot Page, and Jon Bernthal. It will be released on July 17, 2026.
