The fourth season of ‘Bridgerton‘ is in the works, and will likely release next year. As many know, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton will appear as Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton in the upcoming season. While speaking to Extra TV at the SAG Awards, the actors revealed interesting details about their characters.
Speaking of the filming process, they revealed that they are currently busy shooting for season four. The actors gushed over the ‘real cute baby’ they have in the new season. “He’s a real ginger. There was one scene where I was meant to pass him to Luke, but he sort of held on to me. It was so cute; just like clung on, didn’t want to go,’ said Coughlan.
Newton added, “He’s a one-take wonder. He’s already a star.”
‘Bridgerton‘ season 3 focused on Penelope and Colin’s love story. Colin learns that Penelope is Lady Whistledown in the final moments of the show. However, he decides to accept her for who she is. In the final scene, it is revealed that they have welcomed a baby boy.
The fourth season will focus on Benedict Bridgerton’s love story with Sophie Baek. Benedict is played by Luke Thompson, and Sophie is played by Yerin Ha.
