Alex S.: I just don’t understand how Maresca can be so ruthless in the summer with Trevoh Chalobah, Ben Chilwell (even as a back up left-back), Carney Chukwuemeka, etc. after a few weeks of training, but won’t drop Robert Sanchez after half a season’s evidence worth of costly mistakes. How bad must Jorgensen be? (And if he is, why on earth did they buy him for £30m?!)
Gareth P.: I’ve been really impressed with Bernardo today. He dropped back close to Khusanov to help him in the first half and worked his backside off the whole game.
George B.: Chelsea are getting worse every game I watch us. And YET AGAIN we go in front and don’t build on it. Maresca really impressed me the first half of the season but I’m starting to worry this is a Maurizio Sarri scenario (it’s often forgotten he actually started really well).
Anonymous: Pochettino preferred Petrovic last season even after Sanchez recovered from injury. Not hard to see why…
