Priyanka Chopra is one of the most talented actresses in the industry. Apart from ruling Bollywood, PeeCee has also successfully carved a niche for herself in the West. Over the years, she has featured in many Hollywood projects. In 2023, Priyanka and Richard Madden came together for Russo Brothers’ ‘Citadel‘. The series later got Indian and Italian spin-offs.
On Wednesday, PeeCee penned an emotional note reflecting on her journey in the Citadel Spy Universe. She hinted at a possible crossover involving all the pivotal characters of the franchise.
PeeCee wrote, “I was brought onto the journey of Citadel early 2018 by @jenifersalke, before I was even married. Feels like so long ago! But I’ll never forget being mesmerized by the ambition of the show. To actually connect the world together through storytelling.” She further mentioned that to see the world of Citadel expand across borders is ‘so gratifying’. She went on to add that she’s grateful to be on this journey with ‘all the incredible cast and crew from around the world’. She concluded her note by saying, “Here’s to much more to come.”
For the uninitiated, Priyanka is currently busy shooting for the second season of ‘Citadel’. The actress is set to return as Nadia Sinh. She will be joined by Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci, Ashleigh Cummings, Caoilinn Springall, and Paul Bazely among others. The release date of the upcoming second season has not been announced yet.
Apart from ‘Citadel’ second season, PeeCee also has ‘Heads of State‘, ‘The Bluff‘, and ‘Jee Le Zaraa‘ in the pipeline.
