Wolverhampton Wanderers sporting director Matt Hobbs was handed a one-game suspension for calling referee Anthony Taylor “completely f****** ineffective”, the Soccer Affiliation (FA) has confirmed.
In a listening to earlier this month, it was alleged that Hobbs directed the phrase in the direction of Taylor after the Premier League membership’s 2-2 draw with Newcastle United at Molineux on October 28.
Taylor alleged that Hobbs handed by him as he was leaving the sector and remarked: “Completely f****** ineffective as typical.”
