Rudy Giuliani’s Consultancy racks up $57,000 of phone bill debt

A consulting company founded by Rudy Giuliani (former mayor of New York City) owes a Georgia-based telecom more than $57,000 after failing to settle phone bills over a nine-month period.

A new judgment detailing the full cost — $57,655 — was filed against Giuliani Partners LLC on Sunday in the New York State Supreme Court, per records seen by Insider.

Momentum Telecom has said that the cost includes nine unpaid bills for 2020. “failed to pay” totaling $13,545. Giuliani Partners is owed a further $30,00396 for an early termination charge.

On July 17, Judge Suzanne J. Adams determined that the consulting firm must pay $43,950 plus all interest accrued to the telco.

The Sunday judgementGiuliani Partners owes almost $60,000 in total, including interest of $12,831 and costs and expenses of $873.

Giuliani founded his consulting firm in 1992 and left it in 2007 after questions arose about his failure to disclose the clients of his firm.

The Wall Street JournalReports stated that Giuliani Partners LLC provided security advice to Qatar in 2007. Giuliani’s revelation sparked controversy given Qatar’s previous ties to Al Qaeda. Giuliani, who was running for President at the time, had positioned himself against Islamic terror after 9/11.

The firm, that typically provides management and security consulting services, had a hand in Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection bid. They received travel expenses totaling $63,400, from Trump’s campaign, and $76,500, from Make America Great Again. CNN reported.

Giuliani Partners, according to records in the courts, has not responded to Momentum Telecom or Adams’ debt filings. Giuliani’s representatives didn’t immediately reply to a comment request sent outside normal business hours.
