The Panthers had made it clear to their internal team that they were aware of the fact. There are no plans to trade their star running back, sources with knowledge of the situation told The Athletic. Although Carolina is open to offers, the organization is looking for a high draft pick or multiple picks, and they are adamant they’ll keep McCaffrey past the Nov. 1 trade deadline if not, per ESPN.
McCaffrey (26 years old) has 512 total yards with three touchdowns, 72 rushes and 26 receptions across five games.
