The AFC South is wide open for the taking, Sunday’s game between the Colts and Jacksonville JaguarsThis race could prove pivotal for both sides. The Colts are now favored by less than a field goal after being shut out by Jaguars a few weeks back.
Kickoff will take place at 1 p.m. ET Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. The kickoff will be televised by CBS.
The Colts are a frustrating team to try and get a handle on because they entered the season with high expectations but have been one of the league’s most disappointing teams through the first five games, even in victory. They have the NFL’s worst offense and an offensive line that is completely incapable of protecting veteran quarterback Matt Ryan. The team averages just 13.8 points per match. This is two points lower than any other league team. However, a win would bring them within half a game of Tennessee for first in the division. This would set the stage to host a massive first-place battle next week in Tennessee.
The Jaguars must also recover from a difficult stretch which has seen them lose the early-season momentum they had.
