Bill Maher hosts “Real Time”.If President Biden chooses to run for reelection, he should remove Vice President Kamala Harris (Vice President Kamala Harris) from the Democratic ticket.
Maher discussed Friday’s “paradox” between Democrats who like Biden as President but don’t want to see him run for president in 2024 during a panel discussion.
Maher, however, insisted that Biden was not abandoning his ambitions and compared him to Dracula who crossed “oceans” to become president.

Maher stated, “Once that real estate is yours, and you wake up at the White House, where your office and the Oval are yours, I don’t think it’s possible to give it up.” “It’s difficult to remove the nomination from a president who is already in office.
“What I could envision is replacing the vice-president,” Maher stated, drawing applause and cheers from his liberal audience. “Because her popularity isn’t very high anywhere. And it didn’t seem to work out. That’s something that has been done on tickets before, but I’m not sure why.”

Caitlin Flanagan (Atlantic staff writer) pointed out Tulsi Gabbard’sHarris was brutally beaten during Democratic primary debates. She was referring to her record of California attorney general incarceration and calling her a “heat seeking missile”. Maher said “that was it” for Harris’s presidential campaign.
Flanagan explained that Flanagan is “in addition, because of some reason, an offputting person, and she also carries, I believe, a lot a baggage that wouldn’t do well under lots of scrutiny.”
Maher replied, “I think she’s just a bad politician.” “I think she’s a very bright person, but I don’t know- I can see them doing that because a lot of the problem with ‘Biden being old’ is- oh, if he dies, then you’re going to get this person.”

CNN contributor Van Jones defended Harris. She suggested that Harris hasn’t yet “found her footing” as VP, but that she wouldn’t be a “weight on the ticket.”

Maher continued to complain about the “problem” with the Democratic PartyThey are so “stuck in by identity politics” it’d be impossible to have a ticket without a woman, person of color, or “a deaf Eskimo.”
